This is the recipe for Great Grandma’s cookies III, Cornstarch Flowers! Enjoy.
- 3 C. cornstarch, sifted
- 3 sticks of butter (1 stick = 90 grs. or 6 Tbs.)
- 1 1/4 C. of sugar
- 7 egg yolks
- 1/2 C. milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Apricot Marmalade
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until they are hard. Add the butter little by little, then the milk and finally the corn starch, flour and baking powder.
Place the mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip and make stars onto a well greased and floured cookie sheet. Let them rest 30 minutes.
Bake in a 175°C oven until golden, remove and top with marmalade.
