These are Great Grandma’s Cookies IV, Half Moons:
- 1 C. flour
- 2/3 C. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. powdered cinnamon
- Frosting (same as in Chambergos recipe)
- Colored sprinkles
Mix all cookie ingredients together until well blended. Roll out the dough 1/4 inch thick and use a half moon cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.
Bake on greased cookie sheets in a 175°C oven until golden.
Once the cookies are cool, top them with the frosting and colored sprinkles.
