A grand staircase carved from quarry stone dominates the lobby, which is airy, light and filled with original art. Many of the spacious guestroom suites have balconies with views of Lake Chapala or the picturesque village. A swimming pool entices guests on tropical afternoons, and a rooftop garden affords wonderful vistas of the mountains. It’s easy to see why La Nueva Posada is such a popular Lake Chapala accommodation.

Just off the dining room, the bar serves drinks and snacks, with troubadours to serenade you with romantic songs on Saturday evenings.
