Little Yoana Raquel Cuautle wears an ojo de venado (deer eye) seed to protect her from "mal de ojo." Usually occurring in babies, this is caused by an excess of admiration and the failure to pick up or touch the baby. Interestingly she also wears religious medallion under her dress.
