This is the original front door of Mi Pullman, a famous landmark in Chapala. The Mexican art nouveau home was built in 1906 by architect Guillermo de Alba. This must have been a beautiful door in its time. It had obviously been replaced several years earlier by a metal door and had just been discarded and left to the termites.Sadly, it was badly damaged and unusable in its present state. The author managed to save the crystal glass panels and these will be restored and used in doors for a wardrobe.
