The Virgin of Guadalupe appears to Juan Diego in a life-sized street shrine tucked into a narrow alley in San Miguel. Offerings and decorations on the sidewalk below are protected by a small railing. Nearby are images of Jesus in thorns and the Archangel. This original photograph forms part of the Olden Mexico collection.
