The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Mazatlan dates from 1875. Just north of the city's main plaza, Plaza Republica, and next to the Mercado, it has a Star of David in each of 28 stained-glass windows, honoring substantial donations from the Jewish community during the original construction.
