This is the left side of a mural behind the alter in the church of Saint Charles Borromeo at Quinta Carolina on the outskirts of Chihuahua city. It depicts Saint Charles Borromeo standing prominently on the right imploring God to save the plague stricken victims of Milan, where he was Biship. The mural by Ettore Serbaroli demonstrates the artist's ability to provide an emotionally charged narrative in a single image.
