Casting My Net (1997)    In the Costa Chica, milpa agriculture is supplemented by fishing,, depending on the particular community's proximity to water.  In the towns that I am familiar with, people fish in either the ocean, or in rivers, and have access to both salt and fresh-water fish.  One of the main methods for fishing in both rivers and in the ocean is the casting of a relatively small net called a tarraya.  After some practice, I finally got the hang of it!
