Walking west to the zocalo down Palafox y Mendoza Street, the magnificent building on the left appears to need attention since many window panes are broken. The white Iglesia (church) de la Compañia (bell) is beyond. The city bus from CAPU (long distance bus station) drops you near here at Boulevard 5 de Mayo.
