Mountains and Rains is a recurring theme in the Oaxaca Valley translated as a rug pattern. The undulating curves of the mountains and the drops of rain between the peaks signify the repeats in nature, the peaks and valleys of life, the cycles of the seasons. This rug is dyed predominantly with pecan shells and indigo.
