The port of Ensenada retains a small town atmosphere although it accomodates tourists from huge cruise ships daily. A comprehensive upgrade of city streets and plazas is evident near the water. There the fish\tourist market area is especially attractive. Uptown dining and nightlife is something U.S. tourists come regularly to enjoy on weekends.
Frequent bus service from Tijuana takes about an hour and a half for 80 pesos. (Pictures taken April 17, 2004) |
