Mexico's Hacienda Architecture

Hacienda San Pedro Tejalapa, near Toluca in the state of Mexico, was built in 1909, just before the Mexican Revolution, by Manuel Medina, a former Governor of the state of Mexico. Its function was to produce grain and cattle.

The view from the main bedroom through to the sala shows the fin-de-siècle decoration and ornate furniture of the period.
