digital camera problem

Help. I am trying to send photos back to the states, but I keep getting the message about checking to see if the USB cable is properly attached. It is and I connect, reconnect, reboot the computer, etc. and it doesn't help. Sent a message to the company of my ViviCam camera and they never replied. Could any one help me with this problem? Many thanks...Franny

If you can't get your problem resolved here, check with the Lake Chapala Society --- there is a camera club that meets there regularly. If you can't wait for their next meeting, perhaps the contact person for that group could help or direct you to someone who could. Buena Suerte!

This happens to me from time to time, what I do to fix the problem is to remove the batteries from the camera, then reinstall them. I don't know why, but it works for me. I have a Kodak DC240 Digital.

Kapo. Try this. First download your pictures to your documents file, you know, to "My pictures" if you are using XP. Once you have them there, disconnect your camera, and send the photos you now have on your hard drive as either an attachment or in the body of your email.

I know this will work. (I'm assuming you can get the photos to your "My pictures" file)

Remember, though if you have seen some of my other attempts to include photos in some of the Mex Connect forums, you will see that I may be moderator here, but I am not an expert when it comes to photos.
