I am not an expert with Vonage, so these are only guesses. I have a friend in Ajijic who connects to the internet using both the faster (up to) 1024/256 Kb/sec connection infinitum and the local Lagunanet, fixed WiFi 768/768 kb/s connection. Neither ISP works perfectly with VoIP, but both work the vast majority of the time with is Vonage. Might this simply be a a bandwidth problem? There is a way, they tell me to set your vonage settings for a slower connection speed. ANYONE else having these problems? I JUST RECEIVED AN email letting my know that the friend I mentioned above uses Packet8 not Vonage.
