Does anyone use Nextel lakeside? Supposedly, it is very popular in Mexico. I am interested in the walkie-talkie side, so that my hubby and I can keep in touch inexpensively while roaming separately. A friend that just returned from visiting said that their stateside Nextel cell was able to be used in Ajijic to walkie-talkie his wife here in San Francisco with no problem. As we are about to drive down in 2 cars, I would love to be able to sign up here and switch over to a local number after we arrive.
