Netflix and Roku

I got the Roku box to use with Netflix. And I know about Hotspot Shield to get a U.S. IP address. But I can't figure out how to get a U.S. IP address into the Roku box (it's running on the wireless network in my condo, which is obviously not in the U.S.). Help,please.

Check out witopia.net. they sell a router that transmits a VPN (virtual private network). I haven't tried this to say whether it works, but I know someone who boughtd the $59.99 VPN and then hooked the laptop directly to the flatscreen TV, and was able to access streaming videos.
