Mobile WiMAX Launched For Wide Area Of Mexico

Sure would be nice if/when they expand the service area to include more of the Highlands...

That sounds like a very good thing. No pricing on it yet I guess. Odd the cities they picked, you'd think they would start in some of the richer cities like Monterey. I hope they are successful.

I was under the impression that maybe 3 years ago, at least parts of Central America had combinded TV and Broadband service from satellite. Same footprint?

NO. Both WiFi and WiMAX signals are terrestrial.
