Mercado Libre

Has anyone bought anything through http://www.mercadolibre.com.mx/? I would like to buy
a water pump that I found there for 550 P and 110 P shipping. Locally it costs about 1400 P.
I don't have a mexican credit card so I'm not sure how I would pay for it.
Maybe there is a place in Guadalajara where I could get the same deal?

You can make a direct cash deposit in their account at several banks. Banamex, Banorte and HSBC.

I can add a little here. A friend who owns an ISP here in Ajijic uses Mercado Libre all of the time and has had very good luck with them. He pays by bank transfer. But he adds, you got to know what you are doing so you don't get ripped off.

Because I don't know what I am doing, if I ever needed to order something using Mercado Libre, I'd ask my friend to guide me the first few times.

Sorry I can not be more helpful.
