German TV

First of all, happy New Year everyone and thank you Pete Johansson for your help with my earlier question about free-to-air programming. I have a big C-band dish, a 4DTV receiver and an MPEG free-to-air receiver and have just discovered that German TV is now available in the States via DISH Network.

Is there any way to get German TV with the equipment I have or would I have to subscribe to DISH Network from here in Guadalajara? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Kim

With your Mpeg 2 receiver, you know of course about DW. I remember an adv. serveral years ago from some other small dish service for German TV for the US. It was viewable via satellite with a footprint that reached Mexico. It was a smaller company and I have no recollection of the name of the company
