Changing preinstalled Spanish version of XP home/servpac2

Was so happy as we just bought a new laptop at Sam's Club in Merida. Was assured that I could change the Spanish to English. Yes, could change the keyboard and date, money settings but not the text in XP. Just did a lot of research with Sony and on forums dealing with XP. Gathered that you can't download an English version but have to buy one and re-install. Has anyone purchased a laptop here with English preinstalled? Or do any experts out there have any advice other than to buy in US?

Contact the local computer sales and service places. They should be able to help you.

Check around at computer shops and/or ask at internet cafes. Mexico is full of young techies, and you'll find one or more of them who can help you out.
