BUYER BE??????????????????????????????

Can't Post | Private Reply
I am sitting here and watching my wonderfull dish network system which I paid about $1,000.00 US and it would appear that the fog of the GRAY area of transmissions from the US are once again distorted. I would guess according to the latest news the 2 great DISH network guys will have to make there money north of the US border. I am a dumb Gringo, I trusted my mexican guide and his advise, shame on me.

If it was raining when you were watching, that may explain some of your loss of service.

See Pete Johanson's column in the Guad Reporter Aug. 5-11 (current issue), p. 12. If I read this correctly, there is a problem with the dish network and the FCC. Not sure if this is your problem (it may be the weather) BUT, this is an article you will want to read.

We have Dish and we are not having any problems except we can't get WNET (PBS). Other than we get 120 channels plus the music channels.

Sorry if my column mislead any of you, what I wrote about is what the FCC may require DISH Network to do as early as this fall.

Pete it isn't a mislead it is a warning. The difference between black and white is GRAY, and the truth is there some folks making a bunch of money on the GRAY part. Cash for a system that is pushing the limits of reception in Mexico which is not on the legal almost from the US, no customer service, no support, nada, I don't even know how are where to pay the bill. I have nothing, no account number, I have a system that is not set up, one of the satellite imputs or switches is not connected PROPERLY. I have total outages up to 6 hours or more/ please tell me about the rain and clouds????????????????????????????????????, please tell me that the 2 big dish guys are going to make this right

I don't know who your sat dealer is lakeside. What I do know is that I have a 1.4 meter and a 2 meter sat dish pointed at the most popular DISH network satellites, and when it rains with any intensity, I temporarily loose the signal. I have never lost a signal if it is only cloudy out.

If you have satellite dishes that aren't pointed just right, if they are too small, or if you have some other fault, your signal will not be strong enough and you may loose your signal.
