If you are using XP, Paint is already loaded in your computer. Go to start / programs / accessories. Paint will be on the drop down menu. (I use XP Pro; it is probably in XP Home too.) You can’t do much with it, but it is better than nothing. Another free program is Adobe Photoshop album free starter edition. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopalbum/index.html Again, the editing capabilities are limited; it does have an automated Red Eye removal tool. Album is also better than nothing. You can also download a trial version of Adobe Elements and use it for a month to decide if you want to buy it. Like Rolly, I am a fan of the full Photoshop program, but I sometimes use the Red Eye removal tool in the free Album program because it is so easy to use, just click on each red eye. No choice of eye colors though. Rex "The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved" - Victor Hugo
