Arroz con leche 3/4 c. long grain rice I/2 c. sugar 1 stick cinnamon (3 or 4 inches) 1 bay leaf 4 1/2 c.water 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz.) 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. raisins Rinse and drain raisins,in a large sauce pan mix water, sugar, cinnamon, bay leaf, raisins and a pinch of salt. Bring mixture to a boil, stir in rice, lower heat,cover and simmer 25 mins. Uncover and stir in milk stirring constantly so milk won't boil over and continue cooking 5 mins. Let cool 20 mins. then stir in vanilla. Pour into a bowl or dessert cups. Pudding will thicken as it cools. Enjoy! Gran
