I live on the coast of Nayarit and occasionally see Mexicans gathering smallcrustaceans which look like a part of a lobster tail. These creatures can occasionally be seen crawling up the beach, but the people who harvest them usually stand in shallow water and grope around in the sand for them; thesethings burrow pretty quickly. I've been told they're called "tiquilichi" (I don't know how that should be spelled, but that's what it sounds like.) Can anybody give me something more precise or even a different common name? I've tried to satisfy my curiosity through searching the Internet but haven't been able to learn anything. Thanks, Terry
