Which Hand Do You Use?

Can't Post |
Up until about 20 years ago, anyone who had any manners in this country ate Continental, that is, using the fork in the left hand and the knife in the right, allowing the fork to remain in the left hand while eating the cut portions. Now American style seems to have taken over? Has anyone else noticed the switch?

And while we're on the topic of dining etiquette, just how is someone in polite company supposed to eat a mollete? A knife and fork seems like overkill, but it seems just so barbarian to bite off pieces of the entire sliced bolillo.

Yes,Miss Rose,my butler and some of the maids have commented on this increasing habit, but have assured me that is NOT the case below stairs.

One must maintain some standards, after all.

Cut it in half or fourths and then pick up the pieces.
