I too purchased, well my parents did so for me, a bottle of the same product spoken of. I have used more than 90% of mine and have been very happy with this product. I wish I could get some more. I have asked if anyone goes to Mexico that they bring me back some. No one in my family has had any ill side effects from this drug that we are aware of. I guess if I knew what the side effects were, if they are any flu like syptoms, stomach etc, etc, then definitely no. It is the purest and tastiest vanilla I have had. I make my own frostings and cakes and it has been exceptional. If anyone knows of a place to purchase without making the phone call let me know too.

Thank you ...I took the discussion to the General Forum and received some other/different answers...but I agree with you....mine is adulterated and I do not want to use an adulterated product. Marti

I bought some of this as well. I did some further research with the FDA and thought you may be interestsed in what I found. Danncy vanilla, along with others, was named in an FDA alert as containing coumarin. I spoke with a gentleman at the FDA, George Butler (301-443-6553) who confirmed this. He told me I would have to write to the FDA Freedom of Information Staff to get the exact findings. I don't think I'm going to do that. Below is the FDA website I where I obtained this info.

Here is a link to the info:

My wife and I have a bottle of Danncy Vainilla like you described,we have used 99% of it with no ill effects. In fact I got on the net to see if I could find a place to purchase another bottle.

Thanks
