Individual burners in kitchen counter

Do any of you have any experience putting in this kind of cook top? My guess is that it is just individual propane burners and wouldn't be that difficult. I'm playing around with kitchen design for the house in Mérida and I really like the separation possible with this kind of burner. Can you think of any drawbacks? While this island is beautiful, it isn't possible for me so it's not the part I'm looking at. I would want 3 or 4 individual burners spaced on a countertop.

The secret is getting one of the people in your area that know how to do that. I think they are putting them in now ..even with electronic pilot lights. You might ask who does that where they buy the parts to build them in. I have a friend who keeps building houses and she puts them in all of her houses. Cynthia
