Best way is to use them as soon as you bring them home. That is why my Mexican neighbors line up twice a day in front of the tortilleria. We prefer flour tortillas but find that corn ones last much longer. And stale corn ones are easier to use for chips, tostados, soups, chilaquiles, etc.
