Had a craving for calabazas rellenas and have seen two (pretty similar) recipes on them recently. One on a blog "Mi Sazon" esperanza linked to in the barley thread: http://cocinayrecetas.hola.com/...icana/20130619/4955/ And the other on 'The Other Side of The Tortilla" http://theothersideofthetortilla.com/...lenas/#axzz2WsRYm5US I am pondering if I should use a grill pan I have (similar to the second link) , OR could I just roast the calabazas in the oven? I was also thinking of doing a batch of roast garlic and bell peppers, so might as well save gas by doing it all at once, right? Anyone have a preference? I havent ever roasted squash for this purpose, so Im not sure how long it would take (dont want to overcook them, mushy squash is blegh!) ~~~~~~ Enjoying life in northern D.F. with our family of Americans and chilangos.
