HELP!!! Chihuahua Queso

I need help with a recipe for creamy chihuahua queso. Please share if you know of such.

I tried melting Supremo Chihuahua last night, and it was a disaster. It was stringy, and not creamy. Is there something special to melting it?

How do you start out to melt the cheese. And what quantities of milk, butter and flour do you use in what proportions to the chihuahua cheese?

-The secret to melting any unprocessed cheese is to melt it in a liquid containing starch. I use Supremo brand Chihuahua cheese to make a fabulous cheese soup. My soup starts out with a white sauce (milk-butter-flour) If you try to melt unprocessed cheese by itself or in a liquid that doesn't contain starch (such as flour or corn starch) you will end up with an oily, stringy mess. If you want a thick melted cheese, you have to use processed cheese (such as Velveeta.)

Laura: Would you mind sharing your recipe for the cheese soup? Supremo Chihuahua is my favorite but I've never tried it in a soup. Thanks!
