Cream Cheese?

Can't Post | Private Reply
What is the Spanish for Cream Cheese (as for bagels) and Sour Cream (as for baked potatoes)? Or maybe there isn't such a thing? I had fun seeing all the neat foods in the store this AM but could not figure these two out. Not a big deal if they don't exist because there is so much else that looks great!

Thanks and Happy New Year!!!

Cream cheese is "queso crema". We can even get Philadelphia brand down here in Tuxpan.

Sour cream is "crema acida", also available here.

And if we can get it here in this one horse town, it's surely available all over the country.

Costco and Sam's Club both carry multi-packs of Philly Cream Cheese. Costco, at least in Morelia, also has approx 2 pound blocks of Raskas Brand Cream Cheese.
Even our modest supermarkets in Pátzcuaro have Philly Queso Crema.
All generalities are suspect, including this one.
