Chiles rellenos with shrimp?

Can't Post | Private Reply
I got an e-mail today from a lady who said she recently had (where?) chiles rellenos stuffed with shrimp. She didn't know what else was with the shrimp and wondered if I knew. I don't. Do you?

I suggested minced onion, chopped tomatoes and a bit of grated Swish cheese.

Dang it, Rolly, wish you'd gotten an answer on this. It sure looks like a dish I would like to try.

I've had Chilles Rellenos de Atún, served cold or at room temperature. Not bad.

I once served an appetizer course of Pimientos Piquillos Rellenos de Guisado de Marlín y Queso Philly. Ummmmmm.

I prefer my shrimp as unsullied as possible, with the exception of such Chinese delights as Har Gow
All generalities are suspect, including this one.

Gosh Rolly, I am with ms mac..............I hope you get an answer to this one! My husband makes the best chile rellenos and that would be a new twist on an already wonderful dish!

There is a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, Encanto, that serves seafood chiles rellenos. I have never had them, not being a chile relleno fan in general but they get rave reviews.
