Does anybody know of a good, inexpensive Spanish immersion school (possible homestay arrangement also) in Mexico? I studied in Guatemala a few years ago and it was excellent due to the price. $300/wk got you four hours a day, one on one with a knowledgable instructor, and a homestay residence that included breakfast and dinner. Does anybody know of a similar school in Mexico? That would be great!

About a year ago, I went to CELEP (http://www.celep.com.mx/) in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán and studied for four weeks. It was great. While there, I spent a weekend in Guanajuato and recently I've been looking at going to an immersion program through the university there. Go to http://www.ugto.mx/ and type in "language" in the search field to bring you to their language school. A friend of mine studied there for six weeks and learned a lot. I hope this helps.... jennifer

Here is a link to a school I went to in Morelia, Michoacan. I took some private lessons. I don't know how the group ones are. Check it out.
