I found "cejas poblados" in the description of a person who is apparently missing. Literally translated, that would be "populated eyebrows". In English we would say "thick eyebrows", or perhaps "bushy eyebrows". Is there another way to say "thick eyebrows" in Spanish? One of those phrases that is a gotcha for non-native speakers, I suspect. It would never have occurred to me to use "cejas poblados" to describe heavy eyebrows. Richard Cejas pobladas, Richard. The gender of the adjective (pobladas) always agrees with the gender of the noun (cejas). This is the way you say 'thick eyebrows' in Spanish. It's not a gotcha, it's how it's said. http://www.mexicocooks.typepad.com
