Cute. Bennie, is there a third word that rhymes with the first two that has a similar meaning?

La Isla, Yes, there is. It is 'dale, the slangy, unofficial (definitely) Yucatecan contraction of andale, or more accurately, andale pues, the words used as a sort of OK in nearly all of México.

The word dale isn't derived from andale. It is a form of the verb dar...meaning to give.

Andale comes from the verb andar.

Dale isn't used to denote OK.

Sorry La Isla, I can't think of one off the top of my head.

Sorry for being a unclear, BG. Read my edited version. It reflects what my Yucatecan experts tell me, which is what I meant to say and didn't in the original post. ¡discúlpeme!
