Spay/Neuter in Spanish

Our regular veterinarian is an avid pro-lifer and refuses to spay or neuter his patients! He doesn't speak English but is accustomed to us and our dogs and has all their medical records because my daughter used to work for him in his clinic. Anyway, he did recommend another vet here who would operate, but strongly indicated his disapproval so I don't want to ask him to help us further on this matter. The other doesn't speak any English either.

I need to make arrangements for my dogs, but cannot find either spay or neuter in my Spanish-English dictionary. Can someone tell me what to say to the pro-choice vet when I contact him? Some things my high school Spanish just didn't cover.

Thanks. Just the words I needed. Other than his stance on neutering, our vet is a lovely old man who is a fantastic diagnostician. I think he can simply look at a pet and offer a solution to any problem. He suggests holistic as well as pharmaceutical remedies, and they work! My dogs love him. He also reads his bible between patients.
