Spanish language joke for your amusement

Your morning smile:

A recently married young lady, very angry, complains to her mother: "What I confide to you is just between you and me, mum."

The rest?

Saludos cordiales,

Ayer te platiqué algunas intimidades de mi matrimonio, y hoy ya las sabe todo el vecindario...

Yesterday I told you some secrets about my marriage, and today the whole neighborhood knows about them!

Don't you know how to keep a secret?

“Obviously, I know how to keep a secret, responded the lady as if her dignity had been offended-, those who don’t know how to keep a secret are those gossipy old ladies I mentioned it too!”

Thanks to all. Those who wrote and those who read.

A minor detail in the Spanish version of this last line: ¡Claro que sé guardar un secreto!", responde la señora...

Saludos cordiales,

Right, it should be an "e" not an "a" at the end of "responde". Thanks for picking that out.

And the 'a' instead of the 'e' in 'guardar'.

Buenos Dias Quevedo,

The word “claro” is one I’ve not been accustomed too, in part due to my lack of its use. I like the word and in looking it up in an audible on line Spanish dictionary (website included) it gives multiple variations of its use.

I chose “obviously” as a selection of choice and with the suggestions listed under “clarora.”

I’ve also included “obviously,” as the option chosen.

The word “claro” can be used in so many effective variations.

Incidentally, I’ve included the Yahoo website as one of my better finds in the pursuit of frantically searching for a reasonable “audible dictionary” and the nice part of it is it pronounces the word pretty well, and the kicker is it’s free.

Yahoo Audible Dictionary below:
