Hello abelsn,

Free board and room in exchange for Spanish lessons? Are you kidding?

I like the idea. I would very much like to exchange English lessons (I am a native English speaker, North American) for free board and room with a native Mexican family. Wow! That would be ideal.

All kidding aside, you better come to Mexico for a while and see what it is like down here. When you say you are a Native Spanish Speaker one gets the impression you are from Spain or some Latin American country but not from Mexico. Here in Mexico there are literally millions of Native Spanish Speakers who would love to live in a Native English Speaker home with free board and room just to teach Spanish. You have no idea about the competion you face.

And in passing, you need to work on your English a bit. For example: I am moving to the Ajijic area, and I am looking for free lodging; in exchange I will teach Spanish to you.

Your awkward English construction immediately suggests that your Native Spanish might just possibly be hard for us to understand as well.

Ay! Please forgive me for this harsh response. The idea of free-loading set me off.

Good luck to you. You better try again. I don't think you are going to get many responses.

Adios. Jerezano.

Re: [jerezano] Spanish, French and a little bit of English

Hi, Jerezano:

Yes, I'm kidding. Now I ask only for a bed, and nothing else.

If you like the idea to interchange lenguaje lessons: I live in Zacatecas, Zac. here in Mexico, (by the way, I am mexican). The problem is than my situation is far away from ideal, (I have an extra room, but without bed nor furniture). Will you come? Then you will pay for everything, except the room.

Yes, there is a lot of competition, but a lot of them don't speak french also. So, this post is for french canadian people

My spanish is not hard to understand, the hard part is to make me speak, i am very shy and i don't speak a lot.

Instead of pardoning it, I am thankful by this reply, Jerezano. it made me laugh.

Maybe, this all stuff is only a joke. But if some golden age people like this, please write to me.

Je sais pas si on peut ecrire français, ici dans le forums?

Au revoir.
