S.A de C.V.

After many business names in México you see - S.A. de C.V.

Por ejemplo, Mar y Aventuras S.A. de C.V.

What does this mean? Gracias

Osito

Gracias Carlos.

S.A. de C.V. in iglés - Anonymous Society of Captial Variables

(Sociedad Anónima de Capital Variables).

Sometimes you see this abbreviation after a business in México

and sometimes you don´t.

Is S.A. de C.V. a union? Still trying to grasp

the meaning in connection with a business.

Feliz 2003 Osito

Thanks esperanza,

To put this another way, a business in México

that is incorporated, has ¨S.A. de C.V.¨

after it´s name. ¿Verdad?

I don't know the legal ins and outs of SA de CV, but the usage is comparable. Someone more knowledgeable about Mexican business law than I will have to answer that part of your question.

According to "The People's Guide to México":(Carl Franz)

S.A. = Sociedad Anónima: Equivalent to "incorporated," used by companies that sell shares of stock.

S.A. de C.V. = Sociedad Anónima de Capital Variable: Large companies registered to do interstate business.
