Rollo mata cara.

There is an old saying "billete mata carita" which means that a guy with money will win the girl over the fellow with a handsome face. You might hear it said when a group of young men see a pretty girl with a not so attractive but well-off hombre. I kind of get the impression that the portly gentleman (with a roll around the middle maybe?) was doing a take-off on the other expression.
The word rollo, among other meanings (the popular TV show "El Otro Rollo"), can mean a farfetched story or one with a lot of embellishment, something that maybe a "galan" might use in his "conquistas". Could be he was referring to something of this nature.

: Hi Folks;
: I heard this said in a telenovela by a heavy-set gentleman : who seemed to be referring to his own physical appearance. : Has anyone heard this expression before? What does it mean : exactly?
: Best regards, : Mike OToole.
