Lots of unexplained poofs around here. Hope they don't prevent more of these jokes.

I am trying to remember one that was about "infecciones de ovarios" or "o varios infecciones" Anybody remember it? Hope it's not to risque for the cyberprude squad.

True story, I swear:

A couple of years ago I was out to breakfast here in Ajijic with two male friends and a female (native Spanish-speaker) friend. The waiter, well-known to all of us, came to take our order. I ordered, my female friend passed for the moment, and our two male friends ordered...one of whom ordered scrambled eggs with bacon. The waiter returned to my female friend, who promptly stated, "Yo quiero huevos como él."

Watching the battle on the waiter's face as he struggled not to laugh will live in my memory as long as I have memory. My poor Spanish-speaking woman friend looked mystified for a moment...and then we all whooped as the lightbulb went on in her head.
