Música pagada ...

Hi Folks;

Just a quick question today. Does this phrase mean anything to anyone out there?
'música pagada nunca suena'
Thanks in advance for any input.

Best regards,
Mike OToole.

Jajajaja
you can also say: Mariachi pagado canta mal son!

This means that if you pay for a service in advance the results wont be good or you wont even see the results ever!!!!
So never pay the total amount of something before you get it!!
see you

Ese es el sentido exacto del refrán. Creo que la versión original viene de España: "Música pagada toca mal son".

Un saludo sonado,

I think the phrase is..."Músico pagado toca mal són."...unless of course it's a female musician!

I always tell my photography clientes I only charge a 50% "anticipo" so they can't accuse me of being a "músico."

¡Hasta pronto!
