Ok, gotta ask another question. Last winter I saw in a few Restaurants and also in San Juan Cosala on their change room doors or washroom doors the designation

"Hombres" for men and "Mujertes" for women. Tonight at night school I asked the teacher about it and he said that is a no no. He's Peruvian, is there a difference in Mexico to say Peru? He says it is "Caballeros" and "Damas".

Is that not a correct designation in Mexico on their doors?

Gracias

It's just like in english. Some restaurants use "MEN" and "WOMEN" while others use "GENTLEMEN" and "LADIES" I'd say it's up to the establishment...wanna treat your patrons with a little respect or just as customers?

men/women = hombres/mujeres

gentlemen/ladies = caballeros/damas

Hasta pronto, damas y caballos güeros :Þ

Rey,

I've seen restrooms doors designated for either gender with pants & skirts
painted on them, a sombrero and a mantilla, mickey mouse and mimi,
Whoever owns those doors decides what text or drawing goes on them.

There's one here I like, a mustache on the men's room and red lips on the ladies.
