Instituto Cultural - Guadalajara

Hi,

My husband and I will be spending 6 months in Guadalajara, arriving Dec. 1st. This will be our final test run before we move to Mexico permanently. We plan to take Spanish language classes and have researched the various language schools in the city. It seems that IMAC is recommended more than any other school. Has anyone had any experience with the Instituto Cultural in Colonia Americana? (I've done a search on MexCon forum and no results.) Their program seems similar to IMAC and their prices are about 1/2 the cost of IMAC on a monthly basis. We hope to take as many week-long classes (3-4 hours a day) as we can handle over the 6-month period we are there. At least 2 weeks out of each month, maybe 3 weeks a month, if we don't burn out. Both IMAC and Instituto Cultural focus on cultural exchanges between Mexicans and foreigners, which we like.

Thanks,
Linda
