Help needed: encorbado

Can anyone help, please, with the meaning of "encorbado"? The context is a description of a bird with a red beak... "Encorbado" does not appear to be included in any of the usual dictionaries but "googling" found numerous hits - unfortunately none of them that I looked at provide its meaning!

The problem that you're facing here is the fairly common error of interchanging the letters "b" and "v" in written Spanish, arising from the fact that the two letters represent the same sound in spoken Spanish. The word you're actually looking for is encorvado, which translates as "curved' or "bent."

Patricio,
¡Mil gracias! I should have realised that - it just goes to show that late-night translating is not a good idea!
Thanks again,
Tony

Ja! This reminds me. Yesterday a friend was investigating hotels in Zacatecas and found one that advertised that "Far and away the best features of this place are that they offer Ballet Parking and Baby Sisters!" Since I have been missing my baby sisters a lot lately, I strongly lean toward this one, though I am a little nervous about the ballet parking. I can never remember where to put my feet.

Oh it is so fun to see other poeple besides me botching up a language in an unwittingly amusing way.
