Answer to "Que onda?"?

Hi all,
Apparently the slang greeting "que onda?" means "what's up".
In english you might reply with "Nothing much", "just hanging", "chillin'" or "taking it easy".
What is a similar spanish reply?
Thanks
Jacques

I've heard people say "pasandola" (accent over second a--having trouble with keyboard)--meaning pasandola bien or just "chillin".

The usual answer to Que onda? is Nada (nothing)... I wouldn't use it with someone older than you or an authority

Una buena onda, o No hay onda!

: Hi all,
: Apparently the slang greeting "que onda?" means "what's up".
Literally "What wave (vibe)" and originates from mota smokers as a greeting that implies "Are you high?" which is why you shouldn't use this phrase around authorities. True it's useage has spread out considerably from the mota crowd, it is nonetheless a very Hippster term still, seldom used by older straight Mexicans.
Therefore Mamasita always replies "No hay onda!" but the really 'cool' will say: "Buena onda!" ("Good vibes")
Pernel
