"Ay, hermano Lelo, me dan ñañaras." :Þ ñañaras are "butterflies" in your stomach. It was used a lot in a program "Los Polivoces" (love that show!!!) it's a variety show by Eduardo Manzano and Enrique Cuenca. They portrayed two brothers - Los Hermanos Lelo - who were hilariously dumb! Well, they'd use the phrase "Me dan ñañaras." a lot. related site.... http://www.esmas.com/...ota_025_12_1442.html One of my favorite character is Gordolfo Gelatino.."the most beautiful man in the world" LOL You should check out the reruns, if you can find them, and their movies. I don't think there will ever be another variety show like Los Polivoces or Chespirito. As for ¡ay,vuelve el burro al trigo!, another variation is "otra vez el burro al trigo." This dicho talks about someone being stubborn. Like when you tell a kid not to eat cookies and he goes and gets one, or someone who just won't let a subject die and continue to "cry" about it. Knowatamean? It's cuz the burro, no matter how many times you take him out of the trigo (wheat) field, he'll just keep on going back. HTH Rey "Ahí, madre!" - Gordolfo Gelatino :Þ
