Looking for Ajijic house rental Feb/March/April 2011

We're coming to Ajijic end of January and will need a house for 3 months. I realize it may be very difficult to arrive and hope to find something when we get there, but that may be what we'll have to do. We're living in Toronto, Canada. Our wishlist would be something like this: 2 to 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, non-gated house right in the village, hi-speed internet and modern appliances, indoor/outdoor area, a view would be nice, outdoor patio with plants, etc., rate approx $1,000/month...
Would like any advice about how to proceed in finding something. I've been scouring most of the local Ajijic real estate companies for what they have. Should I be contacting a single company to see if they can find something sutable or search entirely by internet advertisements? What are the chances of finding something after arriving?
Any advice or suggestions would be welcome.
