Why reinvent the wheel?

Can't Post | Private Reply
In the U.S. (or at least California), I can go into Building & Sefety and look at and buy plans of any house, they are matters of public record.

If plans are a matter of public record in Mexico, can I find a house I really like and either buy the plans and have it build off of them or find out who drew/certified them and get a set from him/her and build off of those plans? I also assume I can make some slight interior modifications???

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Architects will draw up anything you want. Depending on where you are, if you need permits, you'll have to have a drawings submitted by a recognized architect.....so just find one and go for it.
